About me
One of the greatest privileges of my work is that my clients trust me with the parts of themselves they rarely show anyone else.
At the age of 29, I was offered partnership in the niche West End firm I worked for as a solicitor. I couldn't believe it. I'd reached a level of success I couldn't have dreamed of as a girl - state school educated and the daughter of divorced parents - which was something of a novelty in 1980s rural Warwickshire.
The problem was, my inner confidence and self-esteem were way behind the confident, smiley and ever so willing mask I had worn every day in the office. So every day was a struggle. A struggle to say 'no' to work. A struggle to not think about work when I was on holiday or weekends. A struggle not to spend hours on something relatively straightforward for fear of getting anything wrong. Then there was the perfectionism and overthinking creating analysis paralysis.
A sense of dread and overwhelm enveloped me every morning as I stepped on the 6am District Line to go to work.
So it was a relief when life unexpectedly took me in a different direction and I ended up leaving law for sunnier climes.
It was the beginning of a journey that would completely change the direction of my life. I immersed myself in understanding the subconscious mind, human behaviour and what really creates lasting change, retraining in clinical hypnosis, NLP, RTT and nervous system regulation.
Now when I'm on a call with someone, I never see a job title or a list of problems to solve. I see a capable human being who deserves to understand themselves with greater compassion than perhaps they ever have before.
Because after a decade of doing this important work, and working with hundreds of women, I've learnt that when you feel truly seen and understood, you begin to see yourself differently.
And when you see yourself differently, everything starts to change for the better.
I choose to see every client at their highest potential, even when they can't yet see it for themselves. For I know that you grow into the way you are seen. Holding that belief is one of the greatest responsibilities of my work.
It's my mission to help those working in highly stressful and demanding environments to enjoy the success they have created. So their inner world reflects their outer success.
